The education prospects for boys have gradually been worsening over the last few decades, and are now lagging behind girls by virtually every metric. Not only is nothing being done, there isn't even any research in to the cause of the gap - which ends up as men only being 40% (and dropping) of university graduates.

Men are facing unique sets of challenges in the modern age. From mental to physical health, education and the criminal justice system a dedicated government department is required, alongside the women's one, to tackle these issues properly.
